1 Mob Care Aboriginal Corporation was founded with the goal of supporting the self-determination and empowerment of Indigenous peoples.

Our founders have extensive experience working in various fields including cultural awareness and competency training, disability advocacy, disability policy writing, economic development and youth mentoring.

They recognized the need for a consulting agency that truly understands and respects the unique challenges and opportunities facing Indigenous communities.

With this in mind, 1 Mob Care Aboriginal Corporation was established to provide expert advice and guidance to First Nations communities and organisations, as well as mainstream organisations seeking to effectively engage Aboriginal communities.

Our team is made up of experienced Indigenous professionals who have a deep understanding of the unique needs of Indigenous peoples. We are committed to building strong, long-term relationships with our clients and are dedicated to helping Indigenous peoples achieve their goals and aspirations.

Meet the Founder

Managing Director

Teegan Tomkins

Teegan Tomkins is the founder of 1 Mob Care Aboriginal Corporation, an Aboriginal consulting agency dedicated to supporting the self-determination and empowerment of Indigenous peoples.

Teegan is a proud Anaiwan and Kamilaroi person with a deep understanding of the unique challenges and opportunities facing Indigenous communities. She has a background in community development and has worked extensively with Indigenous communities to develop and implement strategies that empower Indigenous peoples to take control of their own destinies.

Teegan has extensive experience in Aboriginal Affairs, with a particular focus on NDIS registration and compliance, disability advocacy, disability and community engagement in the Alcohol and other Drugs space.

Teegan's experience in NDIS registration and compliance has provided her with a deep understanding of the complexities of the NDIS system and how it impacts Indigenous peoples. She is an advocate for the rights of Indigenous people with disabilities, and her work in this area has helped many Indigenous people access the support and services they need.

Teegan's community engagement experience in the Alcohol and other Drugs space has also helped her to develop a deep understanding of the issues faced by Indigenous peoples in Regional NSW, and her work has helped to create positive change for Indigenous communities.

With a passion for social justice and a commitment to improving the lives of Indigenous peoples, Teegan has established 1 Mob to provide expert advice and guidance to Indigenous communities and organizations.
